Expansão da Infraestrutura de Recarga
O BMW Group anunciou um investimento de 724 mil euros (cerca de R$ 4,37 milhões) para ampliar a infraestrutura de recarga de veículos elétricos e híbridos plug-in na América Latina. O Brasil será um dos oito países a receber parte dos 251 novos pontos de recarga que serão instalados em vias públicas, proporcionando mais comodidade aos donos de carros elétricos BMW e MINI.
Estratégia Global e Compromisso com a Sustentabilidade
Esta iniciativa faz parte da estratégia global do BMW Group de promover a eletromobilidade e reduzir as emissões de gases de efeito estufa. “Para o BMW Group, o futuro é elétrico, digital e circular,” afirmou Reiner Braun, Presidente e CEO do BMW Group América Latina. A empresa já oferece mais de 65 mil pontos de recarga em residências e empresas na região.
Crescimento das Vendas de Carros Elétricos
O investimento coincide com o crescimento das vendas de carros elétricos e híbridos na América Latina. No primeiro semestre de 2024, a BMW registrou um aumento de 22% nas vendas de modelos eletrificados na região, com destaque para um aumento de 43% nas vendas de modelos puramente elétricos, totalizando 1.584 unidades.
Parcerias e Detalhes da Instalação
